Masterfibre was established in South Africa, in 1992.The basic technology for Masterfibre matting was purchased in Brisbane, Australia by Masterfibre.

Over the last couple of years, Masterfibre has developed exciting new ideas to make rubber safety matting at playgrounds more attractive and “user friendly” for children.
The range of Masterfibre goods has grown significantly and now includes an extensive range that is available nationwide, with certain products now exported into Africa, Europe and various countries around the world.
