Fibrelay underlay’s have excellent sound impact attenuating properties for both new and old buildings. Various densities and thicknesses are available to suit ceramic tiles, vinyl, carpet and timber flooring applications. Each density is specifically engineered to meet the acoustical requirements of specifiers and the product is suitable for all common construction and installation methods.
Higher density Fibrelay products are recommended for ceramic tiles and vinyl to provide good stability under point loading. For applications requiring extreme point loading stability granulated cork is added to the product [at no extra cost which acts as stabilizing piers. Permanent resilient elasticity at a recycled price ensures Fibrelay is the right choice for every application.
Applications
Suitable for new and old buildings requiring impact sound insulation under timber, vinyl or ceramic floors. Can be used in wet areas when used in conjunction with a waterproof membrane.
